Over 100 Community Members Gather as Tulalip’s Newest Housing Community Opens for Applications
Tulalip, WA — On Friday, April 24, more than 100 community members, tribal leaders, and project partners gathered at 2712 Sandra Madison Loop Road for the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of Quil Crossing Apartments. The afternoon marked the culmination of a years-long effort by the Tulalip Tribes to deliver quality, purpose-built housing for tribal members — and the beginning of a new chapter for families ready to call Quil Crossing home. T
The celebration opened with a welcome reception featuring snacks and drinks, followed by private tours for tribal elders. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony with traditional drumming and speakers anchored the afternoon, and the event concluded with general community tours of the new units, basketball courts, and community spaces. The energy throughout the day reflected the significance of the moment — years of planning, construction, and community advocacy brought to life in a single afternoon.
AGM On the Ground

AGM Real Estate Group’s on-site team was present throughout the grand opening, helping conduct private elder tours and welcoming community members to the property. As the management partner for Quil Crossing Apartments, AGM’s presence at the ribbon cutting was not ceremonial — it was operational. The team used the event to begin building relationships with future residents, answer questions about the application process, and demonstrate the hands-on approach that will define the day-to-day experience at Quil Crossing.
With applications now officially open, AGM’s leasing team is actively guiding prospective residents through the process and preparing for the community’s first move-ins. AGM is providing full-scope property management for the community, including marketing and lease-up strategy, on-site operations, facilities maintenance, resident relations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
A Community Investment
Quil Crossing Apartments is far more than a building. For the Tulalip Tribes, it represents a direct answer to the community’s longstanding need for quality housing on the reservation. The 85-unit complex features one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans — with an intentional emphasis on larger units to support families and multigenerational households. The site itself was reclaimed and transformed from unused land into a purpose-built community, reflecting the Tribes’ broader commitment to investing in their people. Designed by Rice Fergus Miller and built by Korsmo Construction with project management by the Wenaha Group, Quil Crossing was created with comfort and culture at its core. Modern appliances, quality finishes, and soundproof construction materials ensure privacy and livability, while outdoor amenities — basketball courts, playgrounds, garden areas, and culturally significant playscapes featuring artwork and language from the Tulalip heritage — reflect the community-first vision behind the development.
Looking Ahead
The ribbon has been cut and the doors are open. AGM’s focus now shifts to execution — delivering a seamless leasing experience, building lasting relationships with Quil Crossing’s first residents, and ensuring that the operational quality of the community matches the care and intention that went into building it. AGM is proud to serve as the management partner for this community and to support the Tulalip Tribes’ vision for quality housing on the reservation.
